The blockchain industry is pretty crowded. So how do you stand out in that crowd while keeping it professional, yet not too neutral or plain boring? That was our goal working with Airtrade, who we supported in the preparations for their market launch with a new branding and visual identity.

Blockchain, crypto, tokens – to many of us, they instantly bring up a cartoon-like image in our heads. Our task was to do something opposite and create a visual identity for a brand entering the B2B tokenization industry that wanted to be seen as professional and trustworthy instead.

Airtrade was preparing for the market launch and had to stand out right from the start. It needed to be professional and B2B-appropriate but not B2B-boring or conservative so that it could attract both B2B clients and investors who had to instantly see the potential.

For Airtrade, we created branding and visual identity from scratch, considering its goals and the environment it was going to function in. We decided on a modern, eye-catching 3D look and simple but bold typography.

The key visual element was the inflated shapes floating against the backdrop of a city – a metaphor for how the brand exists at the intersection of two worlds: physical and virtual.

Project result

The new branding and visual identity helped equip the brand with a bold, modern look that inspires trust and sparks curiosity while being totally in line with the future-focused brand message. We also designed Airtrade’s website, currently in development in preparation for the brand’s market launch.

The new Airtrade visual identity was simple but bold and eye-catching. We designed everything from the logo and typography to the key visual and color palette.

For the colors, we went for black and white, with blue accents to highlight some elements in the design.

The key visual element was eye-catching inflatable shapes floating around and creating contrast with the background, making the whole branding pop – almost literally.
